Travel reports

  • Our follow up journey in March 2012. Enjoy reading!
  • Travel Report by Anne Wagener and Weber Eric from their trip in September 2010. While visiting the running projects, the goal was to prepare the Ubuhle Care and Development Centre.
  • Travel report (in German) by Dany Lamesch, Cosita Delvaux and Claudine Klein from 30th October to 6th November 2009
The mission's purpose was the monitoring and the control of the running projects and the first talks to identify a new project. The inauguration of the hospice for HIV infected children took place and the inauguration of one of the two school cantines in the township Katlehong at the Mogobeng school.
Result: the ongoing projects are evolving according to the plans and even exceed the expectations, because the locals and the official institutions are already involved and are helping actively. Due to the presence of the Luxembourgish delegation and the many conferences, it was possible to open doors and mobilise many other people and official institutions. The projects are in good hands and a future positive evolution is assured.
A new project has been indentified not in a township but in a rural area in the Gauteng province. The new local partners are already known by Naledi Projects through previous support actions.
