Sponsor a child

Become a sponsor and supprt your godchild
  • in the children's home Lambano Sanctuary (see Our partners)
  • in the township of Katlehong, through the aid program of Lambano Sanctuary (information on the life in Katlehong)
  • in the children's home Tshepo Ya Bana (see Our partners)

Just 25 Euro a month for your godchild make a change!

Your sponsorship donation (a minimum of 25,- Euro per month) is entirely and automatically transfered to the children's home or the Lambano Sanctuary aid program. Your money helps to cofinance your godchild's meals, clothing, school uniform, medical visits, drugs, therapies, assistance, equipment, excursions, toys..., all a kid needs and everything sick children need.

The godchildren in the township of Katlehong are, just like children in the homes, victims of Aids and poverty. However, they live with a family member, most of the time with their grandmother or an aunt, or with a HIV-positive single mother. The aid program of Lambano Sanctuary helps those women and supervises the spending for the godchild.

The godchildren of Lambano Sanctuary in both homes do not only get the needed care, but also lots of love. Both homes are privately-run and are mostly financed by sponsorships and donations. The governmental aid only covers a very small part of the costs. More information is available under Lambano Sanctuary and Tshepo Ya Bana.

Get in touch with your godchild.

As a godparent you will receive twice a year a report with pictures of your godchild and indicationg how he is doing, how he is developing and what he experienced. Of course, you can contact your godchild in order to present yourself.
